Fantasy Camp For Would-be Frank Lloyd Wrights

If you've dreamed of living in the pleasing spaces of Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West, here's your chance to bring a little of that to your own home. The Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust is holding a "fantasy camp" next month for non-architects to design their own structures.

It's an incredible splurge at $900, but participants will meet with professional architects at Wright's Oak Park, Ill., drafting studio to help them create anything they want - an addition to their house, a vacation home or a room remodel. No architecture or design experience is necessary.

Second Generation of Tiffany Created Masterpieces Too

The son of the founder of New York-based Tiffany & Co. preferred glass. His creations, from vases to stained glass windows or the signature Tiffany lamps, are a study in color, light and innovation that revolutionized glassmaking.

A selection of his pieces from the late 19th and early 20th centuries are featured in the show "Louis Comfort Tiffany, Colors and Light," which recently opened at the Luxembourg Museum in Paris and will stay there until Jan. 17, when it will move to Montreal's Musee des Beaux-Arts, (Feb. 11-May 2, 2010), then to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (May 29-Aug. 15, 2010).

Young Patients Design Stained Glass Windows

Stained glass windows designed by young patients at The Children's Hospital in Sheffield, England have been installed in the restored bandstand at a local park.

The children designed the panels during workshops with a local artist and the council's parks and countryside staff last year.
