Solder and Flux

There's a lot to know about preparing your stained glass piece for solder so we cover the most important points here in our "Solder and Flux" video. Sounds kind of like the name of a rock band, doesn't it?

Solder and flux work together chemically to bond the solder to the copper foil surrounding each piece of glass. This bondingis the key to a strong, integrally constructed piece that will last for years and years. To create the optimal chemical reaction, it is vitally important to minimize any impurities on both the surface of the copper and within the flux medium itself. We outline the 2 most important steps you can take to keep these both from happening.
